Dynamic plans for Powerwall homes

Compare the published import rates for your network. Exports earn 90% of the real-time wholesale market price, with separate variable credits for grid support.

Invitation required. The current plan sheets specify Powerwall 2 or 3, a compatible smart meter, Tesla App and Tesla Wallet. Check your invitation and address with Tesla before switching.

These offers are listed for reference, with no annual savings estimate or cheapest-plan ranking. Wholesale export prices and Tesla’s battery dispatch need interval-level modelling. The plan sheets’ 1c export entry is not treated as a guaranteed fixed feed-in tariff.

Eligibility, credits and battery control

Approved grid exports and a residential property outside an embedded network are required.
Tesla may charge, discharge or pause the Powerwall for optimisation and grid services. Solar curtailment is supported on Powerwall 3, not Powerwall 2.
The Powerwall must stay online at least 95% of the time and cannot participate in another optimisation program.
The published $100 pilot credit depends on participation. Grid-services income is variable. Neither is assumed in Compare’s savings estimates.

Victoria appears in the terms, but no Victorian Dynamic rate sheet was available in the linked document register when checked. No Victorian price has been assumed. These offers do not cover WA, NT, Tasmania or the Ergon network.
